Quiet and full of statues. When we were there, there were lots of fold up chairs around that you were able to move, so we were able to sit and sketch wherever we wanted.

A very special place. Plaster casts of exceptionally famous statues from the ancient world and free. Don't be put off by the fact it's inside a university campus building. A delight to visit.

We had a private tour with the curator, of course that makes a visit a great experience. I personally am not too bothered about classical archeology, however, after having been informed about some aspects to look out for, regarding both, plaster casts in general and the stories behind the depictions, I now really want to go back and have another wander. A real Cambridge institution.

This is a fantastic and fascinating little museum. Well worth a wander, with many fascinating characters from Greek and Roman history to see and explore.

It is a medium sized museum full of greek and roman statues. It takes 50-60 minutes for a fully tour inside. If you are interested in ancient Greece and Rome, you have to visit this place.
